My love for cooking didn’t begin only in my home kitchen—it began through travel. Wherever I go, I’m drawn less to fine dining and more to small local eateries, neighborhood markets, and everyday home-cooked meals. I believe food is one of the clearest reflections of how people live, think, and connect with one another.
Through these journeys, I encountered many different culinary traditions, but three cuisines left the deepest impression on me: Greek, Thai, and Chinese. In Greece, I learned the value of fresh ingredients and balance. In Thailand, I discovered the harmony between spicy, sour, salty, and sweet flavors. And in Chinese cuisine, I was inspired by its depth, technique, and the way food is deeply woven into family life.
When I returned home, I didn’t want those experiences to remain just memories. I began recreating the flavors I encountered, experimenting in my own kitchen and adapting recipes to suit real-life cooking—practical tools, accessible ingredients, everyday schedules, and realistic budgets. Over time, I realized that food doesn’t need to be complicated to be meaningful; what matters most is understanding the essence of a dish and the feeling it brings to the people who share it.
Global Trio Kitchen grew naturally from that journey. It’s a space where I document recipes, cooking insights, and meal ideas shaped by hands-on experience—not styled perfection, but food that truly works in everyday life. The site focuses on daily cooking inspired by three core cuisines:
